Press Registration
The Society for Information Display (SID) welcomes working media to attend Display Week 2025. Eligible media include editors, reporters, producers, camera crews, still photographers, industry analysts (from market research firms only), and freelancers on assignment for accredited news publications.
All media applicants are required to review the credential requirements listed below before submitting their registration.

Media Qualifications and FAQs
Media Credentials Guidelines and Attendance Policies
- SID reserves the right to limit registration to no more than two representatives from the same news or media outlet, or market research organization.
- Media credentials will not be granted to the following: CEOs, VPs, financial analysts, managers, sales executives, account representatives, PR representatives, publicists, marketing directors, administrators, consultants, authors, or researchers; or anyone whose principal purpose in attending this event is, in our judgment, for reasons other than gathering details, interviews, and/or photos for a news report or feature story.
- A history of registration or attendance at previous SID events does not guarantee approval or waive the accreditation requirement.
- Misconduct or misrepresentation of position, publication, or organization will result in a ban for you and your organization from future SID events.
- SID reserves the right to modify this policy without prior or public notice or revoke previously issued SID accreditation and/or event registration at any time.
Approved Media Types
- Print Media: Print media applicants must have written one or more articles about the display industry or display technologies within the past six months. Previous Display Week attendees must have provided editorial coverage to be considered for future credentials.
- Broadcast Media: Broadcast media general assignment reporters must provide a letter from the producer of their network/station confirming coverage of Display Week on assignment, a press photo ID, or business card from your media outlet. (Please scan and include with application.)
- Online Media: Applicants from online media sources must provide a masthead listing them as an editorial contributor to a display industry or display technology publication or blog published within the past six months. Please note: Personal YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or other social media pages/accounts, personal blogs, community associations, forums and user groups will not be considered for media accreditation.
- Freelancers and Video Production Companies: freelancers and video production companies must provide a letter/email from the editor/producer (on station/network letterhead or from a company email address) confirming their assignment to cover the Society for Information Display (SID) or Display Week. Proof of recent freelance journalism activity (one or more published pieces/broadcasts within the past four months) is also required. Note: Production crews hired to record or film exhibitor(s) at Display Week must register as attendees and are not eligible for media credentials.
- Market Analysts: Market analysts must demonstrate display industry or technology-related articles quoting them as analysts/spokespersons published within the past six months or provide the cover of a market research report listing them as contributors. Note: Complimentary registration is limited to two analysts per firm. Analysts from financial firms (buy/sell side) do not qualify as media and must register as attendees.
