Booth Design & Construction Assistance
You may work with Freeman, the official general contractor for Display Week, who can assist with booth design and construction.
You may also select your own independent exhibit-design firm—obtaining multiple bids is encouraged. Begin early to avoid last-minute delays.
Regardless of whom you choose to assist in your booth design and build, all booths must comply with the booth guidelines and show regulations as set forth in the Exhibitor Manual (link coming soon).
Linear Booth Guidelines
Exhibitors must ensure their booth complies with Display Week’s construction guidelines.
Any required modifications are at the exhibitor’s expense.
General specifications for a linear (10′ x 10′, 10’x20’, 10’x30’, etc.) booth:
- Height limit: 8 ft. Any structure exceeding this requires advance approval.
- Front-half height limit: 4 ft. in the 5 ft. closest to the aisle.
- Sight lines: Do not obstruct neighboring exhibitors’ views.
- Ceiling suspension: No banners or items may hang from the facility ceiling.

Island Booth Guidelines
Exhibitors must ensure their booth complies with Display Week’s construction guidelines.
Any required modifications are at the exhibitor’s expense.
General specifications for an island booth:
- Maximum height: 18 ft (from floor to top of structure or banner).
- The entire cubic content of your space may be used up to 18′ height.
- All booths must comply with Display Week’s terms and Fire Marshal safety rules.

For additional booth types and details, refer to the online Exhibitor Manual (link coming soon).
Can I tear down early?
No. Early teardown is strictly prohibited.
Dismantling or packing may not begin until Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
Violations may result in penalties, including loss of booth-selection priority for 2027.
Early teardown negatively impacts attendees and neighboring exhibitors.
Can I use my own carpet and/or furniture?
Yes. You’re not required to use rentals from the decorator. However, if an outside vendor delivers your items to the loading dock, drayage or special-handling fees may apply.
Important:
- DIY carpet must not create tripping or fire hazards.
- Unsafe or non-compliant flooring may need correction (at exhibitor’s expense).
- Carpet or flooring is not mandatory.
Exhibitor Appointed Contractors (EAC) & Insurance
Booths ≥ 200 sq ft: Require union labor for set-up and dismantle.
Option 1: Use Freeman labor (no Certificate of Insurance required).
Option 2: Use an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) (Certificate of Insurance required).
Booths < 200 sq ft: May use your own staff for installation.
An EAC is any company (other than official show contractors) requiring booth access during install or teardown.
How Do I Participate in the Products on Display Feature in Information Display Magazine?

What is Exhibitors’ Forum and How Can I Participate?

To participate, submit your company information and a 35–50-word presentation description through the Exhibitors’ Forum submission form by March 1, 2026.
